INGREDIENTS
The ingredients
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 red onions, halved, thinly sliced
1 one/2 tablespoons refined sugar
2 sheets frozen ready-rolled puff pastry, part thawed
1 egg, gently overwhelmed
8 thick beef sausages
tomato Indian relish and dish greens, to serve
How to create It
Step 1
Preheat kitchen appliance to 200°C. Line a baking receptacle with baking paper. Heat oil in a very non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and cook, stirring usually, for ten minutes or till tender. Add sugar. Cook, stirring, for five minutes or till caramelised. put aside for five minutes to chill slightly.
Step 2
Cut every pastry sheet into four squares. Place one sq. on work table. Brush one edge with egg. unfold one tablespoon onion mixture over pastry. prime with one sausage. Roll up pastry to surround sausage, with egg-brushed edge on prime. Press to secure. Place, seam aspect down, on tray. Repeat with remaining pastry, egg, onion mixture and sausages. Brush topnotch with egg. Score with a knife. Sprinkle with pepper.
Step 3
Bake for twenty to twenty five minutes or till sausages area unit grilled through and pastry is golden. Serve with Indian relish and dish.
